From December 10 to December 22, 2018, professor Joyce Shim from the Dominican University (USA) was on a working visit to the Siberian Institute of Management. Professor Shim arrived at the Department of International Relations and Humanitarian Cooperation in the framework of the program "Fulbright specialist”, which implies giving lectures for 4th year students of the "International Relations" course.

During two weeks in our institute Professor Shim carried out a large amount of work. In addition to lecturing for 4th year students. Discussions and exchange of experience on the volunteer movement organization of foreign students took place. A seminar on academic writing in English was organized for teachers and also joint Spanish classes were held.

Professor Shim’s stay at SIM ended with the preliminary approval of a draft cooperation agreement with the Dominican University.
