On March 22, the Siberian Institute of Management held a wonderful and warm holiday to welcome spring according to the eastern calendar - Novruz

Novruz is a holiday of spring awakening, a symbol of renewal, a celebration of love, fertility and friendship.

Girls and young men - students of the institute - opened the festival with the performance of national dances in elegant national costumes, filling everyone with a cheerful and joyful mood.

The director of the institute spoke at the event and congratulated foreign students in their national language.

Of course, the holiday was not without traditional treats.

And for local Russian students who are currently studying at the SIM the presence at the festival was an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the national traditions of the Turkic people and see an example of preserving peace and understanding between the various nationalities living in Central Asia.
