Marina Kuratchenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages, Director of the Chinese Language Center of the Siberian Institute of Management a branch of the RANEPA, became a participant in the project “Foreign Teachers Training in China”.

The competition was attended by 30 Chinese language teachers, but only 2 representatives of Russia won this prestigious grant. Under the terms of the grant, from July 5 to 23, 2019, Marina Anatolyevna was trained at the Xiamen University under the program “Research of the Modern Chinese Society”

During her studies, Marina Kuratchenko studied the lexical composition of the modern Chinese language, its grammar, phonetics and hieroglyphic writing.

The students were also told about everyday life in China, cultural differences, classical and modern approaches in teaching Chinese.

For several days, teachers learned about the culture of China, its modern society, traditions and culture. A separate block of classes was devoted to modern security systems in China.
