On October 30, 2019, foreign students of the Siberian Institute of Management, led by an International Cooperation Department specialist Lina Skorich, went on a field trip to the traditional religious organizations of Novosibirsk within the framework of the conference with international participation "State, Society, Church" held on the basis of SIM RANEPA.

The first place in the list of visits was the Novosibirsk Jewish Community Cultural Center «Beit Menachem». There Rabbi Shneur Zalmen Zaklos told the participants of the excursion about the Jewish community in Siberia and the special features of Judaism.

The next stop was the Novosibirsk Metropolis of the Russian Orthodox Church, where the children had a tour in the museum of the history of the Novosibirsk Metropolis. The museum contains many unique exhibits. A priest Alexander Sakhnenko, Assistant Manager of the Novosibirsk Diocese for Representative Affairs, told the guests about those.

After this, the trip continued in the Cathedral Mosque of Novosibirsk. In it, guests were told about the spiritual life of Muslims and how this mosque was built.

Further along the route the guests were brought to the Armenian Apostolic Church “Surb Astvatsatsin”. This church was built with the money of caring citizens. The distinctive features of Armenian churches are their angular architecture and the material from which the churches in Armenia are built - pink tufa.

This informative tour ended with a visit to the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Russian Orthodox Old Believer Church. There the Head of the Museum of the History of the Old Believers of Siberia Alexander Emelyanov told visitors of the Cathedral about the history of the Old Believers in Siberia and conducted a tour of the museum's exhibition.
