In September 2020, Okansey Ebenezer, a new teacher of English from Ghana, started work in the Siberian Institute of Management by invitation of the Department of Foreign Languages.

On the 11 of September, specialists of the International Cooperation Department Marina Stanislavovna Lyakhovskaya and Anastasia Mikhailovna Kungurtseva gave Ebenezer a tour of the center of Novosibirsk. Jiyonshoev Maksud, a first-year foreign student of International Relations from Tajikistan, also participated in the excursion. During the excursion, Ebenezer, Maksud and specialists of the International Cooperation Department visited Lenin Square, Pervomaisky Square, Central Park and Mikhailovskaya Embankment.
