On the 3-4 of December 2020, the International scientific and practical conference "SCO University: Global challenges and opportunities for sustainable development until 2030" was held in the Novosibirsk region in an online format as part of the 13th Education Week of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member States "Education without borders".

The purpose of the conference was to discuss the problems of science development and training in priority areas of the SCO University in the interests of sustainable socio-economic development of countries in the context of COVID-2019 for the global economic system.

Participants of the conference: Deputy Governor of the Novosibirsk region Sergey Nelyubov, special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Bakhtiyor Khakimov, as well as leading experts in the field of education, science, business and public administration of the SCO Member States.

Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Finance D. Kunitsyn made a report on "Strategic directions for the development of joint educational programs in the SCO market" at the section "Education Market of the SCO countries".

In his speech, D.V. Kunitsyn drew attention to the ongoing changes in employers' requirements for educational programs and the expansion of educational and scientific cooperation in the SCO space, including the implementation of joint educational programs.
