Diplomacy as the basis of partnership: SIM RANEPA celebrated the Day of the Russian Diplomatic Worker

On February 10, in honor of the Day of the Russian Diplomatic Worker, students of the Siberian Institute of Management, a branch of RANEPA, met with the representatives of the consulates of the Austrian Republic, the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Israeli Cultural Center in the Embassy of the State of Israel in the Russian Federation.

The purpose of the meeting was to develop and strengthen partnerships with representatives of consulates and cultural centers.

Traditionally, the event was opened by the director of SIM RANEPA Oleg Dmitrievich Fedorov.

The expert session was moderated by Sergei Vladimirovich Belkovets, Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations and Humanitarian Cooperation, who told the students about the importance of the work of a diplomat, and the functions of consulates in Novosibirsk.

Honorary Consul of the Austrian Republic in Novosibirsk Natalya Aleksandrovna Sidukova congratulated everyone on the Day of the Diplomatic Worker, spoke about her experience as a consul, about international events that take place in Novosibirsk and other cities for citizens of Austria and Russia, about the country itself, the exchange of cultural-historical knowledge, and the importance of knowledge of foreign languages and communicative skills.

The representative of the Consulate of Uzbekistan, a third-year student of the Faculty of International Relations of SIM RANEPA - Orifjon Akhmadzhonov, addressed the guests with gratitude and congratulations on behalf of the Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Timur Yusupovich Rakhmanov. Orifjon also spoke about significant events held for citizens of Uzbekistan and Russia.

As a part of the open microphone, students asked the representatives of the consulates about the advantages of working in the field of diplomacy, their responsibilities, and international relations in general.

All guests expressed a desire to continue further cooperation.
