From 9th to 14th of July the Tenth Meeting of the UNCTAD Research Partnership Platform at the eighteenth session of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on Competition Law and Policy took place in Geneva, Switzerland. PhD in economics, professor of the SIM Management Department Knyazeva Irina Vladimirovna took part in the conference as a part of the Russia’s FAS. They represented the draft toolkit for international cooperation of competition authorities to counter the restrictive business practices of companies and violations of competition rules during 18th session of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts.

Moreover Irina Knyazeva gave a speech on her report entitled «Recommendations for the institutionalization of instrumental changes for commodity market research» during a meeting of the Group of Researchers in the field of competition and consumer protection in the digital era. As part of her report, she proposed to create an international research group on the reform of research tools and its institutionalization in the existing methodology of economic analysis.

This proposal has interested the secretariat of the session and it will be considered in its work plan for the coming time.
