The conference, organized by Xi'an University (Jiao Tong-Liverpool, China), was held on the 30th of October in an online format. The theme of the conference was "China and the World: Re-evaluating a New International Landscape".

The head of the International Relations and Humanitarian Cooperation Department, Candidate of Historical Sciences D.A. Mikhailov and assistant of the Department, specialist of the Chinese Language Center N.M. Ternov took part in the conference with the report “Chinese soft power and Kazakhstan`s society”.

In a constructive environment, experts from different countries discussed the features of the political system and foreign policy of China, the reaction to it in different parts of the world, the role of the pandemic in modern international processes, and other pressing issues.
