Dean of the faculty of Public and Municipal Administration, D.Sc. in Political Science, Leonid V. Savinov and Associate Professor of Public Administration, Candidate of Political Science, Elena Shevtsova attended the IV International scientific conference by the invitation of the Siberian Federal University. The conference "Specificity of ethnic migration processes on the territory of Central Siberia in the XX-XXI century: experience and prospects" took place on the 26-28 of November.

Leonid Vyacheslavovich delivered the first plenary report on the topic "Political future of migrants in Russia: hypotheses and models", and he took an active part in round tables and scientific and methodological seminars within the framework of the conference.

Our colleague, jointly with Varvara Andreevna Sazhina, candidate of Social Science, Associate Professor of the Department of Management in the field of interethnic and interfaith relations of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, moderated the section "Federal, regional and municipal levels of management".

At the round table "Regional specifics of state policy in the sphere of interethnic relations" Elena Shevtsova presented a report on the topic "Regulatory support of state national policy at the regional level: strategy or concept?". Besides, the participants of the event discussed the specifics of implementing the state national policy at the regional and local levels, formulated by Leonid V. Savinov.

On the third day of the International Conference, Leonid Vyacheslavovich took part in the scientific and methodological seminars "Integration and adaptation of migrants" and "Current research of ethnic processes: problems and solutions", which were held in the House of Friendship With Peoples of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

The conference was attended by scientists from Sofia, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, and other Russian and foreign research centers.
