Lecturers of the Department of State and Municipal Administration took part in the International Forum

On the 11 of December, lecturers of the Department of Public and Municipal Administration of the Siberian Institute of Management, a branch of RANEPA took part in the round table conference "the Role of civil society institutions, local governments, and public authorities in the implementation of state national policy on the territory of the Novosibirsk region, the monitoring of inter-ethnic and inter-confessional relations". The International Forum was devoted to monitoring the status of inter-ethnic relations, prevention of ethnic and religious conflicts.

The International Forum was organized by the Ministry of regional policy of the Novosibirsk region with the participation of the Mayor of Novosibirsk, Siberian Institute of Management – a branch of RANEPA, the Expert club "Siberia-Eurasia", Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Elena V. Shevtsova, Associate Professor of the Department of Public and Municipal Administration, Siberian Institute of Management – a branch of RANEPA, made an introductory report "About the system for monitoring the state of interethnic and interfaith relations."

After the report, Strukova Natalia Aleksandrovna, Head of the Department of Public and Municipal Administration of the Siberian Institute of management – a branch of Ranepa, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Zenkov Maxim Yurievich, senior lecturer of Public and Municipal Administration Department of the Siberian Institute of management – a branch of RANEPA organized the work of the foresight session "Improving the system of monitoring the state of interethnic and interfaith relations".

The results of the foresight session were analyzed and submitted to the Ministry of Regional Policy of the Novosibirsk region as proposals for improving the existing system for monitoring the state of interethnic and interfaith relations.
