The Center’s work aims at developing the competencies of the students of the Institute in the field of Chinese language and culture.

The partner of the Chinese Language Center is the Center for Language and Culture of China (Confucius Institute) of NSU. Due to successful cooperation, SIM students have an opportunity to learn Chinese with the help of native teachers, to take part in events and grant programs of the Confucius Institute.

Center activities:

• Chinese speaking club with a native speaker
• Preparation for Chinese language exams
• Assistance in the selection of internships in China
• Lectures and seminars on the history and culture of China
• Chinese cultural events
• Сompetitions in the Chinese language for Russian and foreign students
